CHRISTIE VETOES BUDGET FOR DELAWARE RIVER AND BAY AUTHORITY

gov_christieGovernor Chris Christie has vetoed the minutes of a meeting by the Delaware River and Bay Authority which basically negates new employee contracts.  Christie says the contracts do not fall in line with the current fiscal climate, and they need to be re-done.  The big issue was that employees contributions to health care coverage was only at ten percent, which was not acceptable to the Governor.  The authority operates the Cape May Lewes Ferry, the Delaware Memorial Bridge, and other entities.
