CHRISTIE TELLS GOVERNMENT TO PLAN FOR SHUTDOWN

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is making plans in the event of a government shutdown. Christie has told his Cabinet members to get ready for a possible shutdown of state government if lawmakers fail to pass a new budget by July 1st. Christie has called for a budget vote in two weeks, but that may not happen. Democrats in Trenton are trying to get some money put back into Christie’s $29.3 billion state budget.
