CHRISTIE STAYING IN NEW JERSEY TO HELP FOLLOWING IRENE

A new report says that Gov. Chris Christie has decided to miss an out-of-state fundraiser in order to continue to help in New Jersey with getting everything back in line. Christie has been touring the state following Hurricane Irene and pushing to get as much federal help as possible. The Star-Ledger reports that Christie has reached out to Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour that he will not be able to make it because of the cleanup effort in New Jersey
