CHRISTIE SIGNS LAW REGARDING JOB APPLICANTS’ HISTORY

Governor Christie signed a measure into law on Monday that would require companies to wait until they have interviewed job seekers before asking them about their criminal past.  The measure would eliminate a check box on job applications regarding an individual’s criminal history.  The measure received bipartisan support in Trenton.
