CHRISTIE SAYS NEW LEADERSHIP NEEDED FOR TOURISM DISTRICT IN ATLANTIC CITY

The Casino Reinvestment Development Authority may have new leadership sooner rather than later. Gov. Chris Christie told reporters that he believes a new head is needed for the authority rather than Thomas Carver. The CRDA will be in charge of a portion of Atlantic City under a state-run tourism district in the resort. The plan is to clean up the city and make it more friendly for people to visit.
