CHRISTIE SAYS COAH WILL BE ABOLISHED

225px-ChChristieA major shift in the affordable housing debate could be taking place. Gov. Chris Christie announced on Wednesday he plans on getting rid of the Council on Affordable Housing, and letting their responsibilities be picked up by the Department of Community Affairs. Lawmakers will have 60 days to veto the move if they want. The issue over affordable housing has been highly controversial, as towns have been required to do more and more but have challenged how the issue has been implemented.
