CHRISTIE: SAMSON OUT AS PORT AUTHORITY CHAIRMAN

Heads continue to roll at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.  Governor Chris Christie announced on Friday that David Samson has resigned as chairman of the authority.  Samson is a close political ally of Christie and used to serve this state as attorney general.  Samson came under fire for allegedly lobbying for companies who had issues and dealings in front of the authority.  Christie says Samson’s resignation was done via telephone call and was effective immediately
