CHRISTIE PROPOSES ADDITIONAL FUNDING TO DISTRESSED CITIES

120px-Seal_of_New_Jersey_svgFunding is being made available to distressed cities, under a proposal by Gov. Chris Christie. Christie sent a pair of bill to the legislature that would put $139 million in funding to the some of the most at-need cities in the state. There will be tougher guidelines that will have to be met in order to use this funding, under the proposal by Christie. These funds had been misused by some cities and Christie had drastically reduced the fund’s budget.
