CHRISTIE PROMISES HELP FOR SEASIDE PARK FIRE VICTIMS

New Jersey is immediately stepping up to the plate to help business owners who lost everything during a boardwalk fire in Seaside Park.  Governor Christie met with the business owners and pledged immediate $50,000 grants and $5 million in no interest loans that would not have to be repaid for two years.  Towns who helped with the cleanup following the boardwalk fire will receive 100 reimbursements as well.  Seaside Heights Mayor Bill Akers said he had never seen the state react so quickly to a disaster like the boardwalk fire.
