CHRISTIE ORDERS FUNDING FOR EMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION PROJECTS

Governor Chris Christie has ordered state officials to find some emergency funding now to continue emergency road projects throughout the Garden State.  Christie says the Transportation Trust Fund is just about out of all available cash and these necessary projects must continue.  Many other projects throughout the State have been suspended this summer as lawmakers continue to make no progress on a gasoline tax or another funding mechanism to provide dollars to the Fund.
