CHRISTIE MAKES DECISION FOR SECRETARY OF HIGHER EDUCATION

Gov. Chris Christie announced his selection to become the State’s Secretary of Higher Education. Rochelle Hendricks has been chosen from her role as the Acting Deputy Commissioner in New Jersey. Prior to joining the Department of Education, she worked for over 15 years at Princeton University in numerous capacities including Assistant Dean of Students and Director of Educational Opportunities Program and Interim Director of the Women’s Program. Hendricks will have to be confirmed by the Senate.
