CHRISTIE FALLS TO FOURTH IN NEW PRESIDENTIAL POLL

Chris ChristieThe Bridgegate scandal has taken a toll on the public’s view of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie as a presidential candidate.  A new CBS News/New York Times Poll released today shows that Christie has fallen to fourth as the preferred candidate for the republican party in the next presidential election.  41 percent of poll respondents wish that Christie would stay out of the presidential race.  Jeb Bush is the preferred candidate among republicans.
