CHRISTIE DECIDES TO NOT JOIN SPORTS BETTING BATTLE

gov_christieThe legal battle to make sports betting legal in New Jersey will go on without Gov. Chris Christie. Christie said there are too many problems going on with the state right now and resources would be better utilized in other areas. Former Gov. Jon Corzine had sought to and was going to be allowed to join in the legal battle started by State Senator Ray Lesniak. The challenge says that sports betting should not be allowed in states like Nevada, and not in New Jersey.
