CHRISTIE CONTINUES TO TALK TENURE DURING TOWN HALL MEETINGS

The talk of bringing an end to tenure continued with Gov. Chris Christie on Thursday. The governor was in Nutley for his weekly town hall meetings. Christie called the tenure system a “failure.” Christie said it would be fairly easily to implement a grading system for teachers based on performance. He also said as the economy improves, he wants to invest more into higher education.
