CHRISTIE BATTLES TEACHERS’ UNION OVER HEALTH BENEFITS MEETINGS

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie is trying to force a major teachers’ union to come to the table to discuss health care benefits.  The State Attorney General’s Office filed a motion in court that would force the New Jersey Education Association to come to meetings to discuss health insurance coverage.  Judge Mary Jacobsen agrees with the State and will hold a hearing on the issue.
