CHRISTIE ASKS FOR DISASTER RELIEF FROM FEDERAL GOVERNMENT

gov_christieEleven counties are in a letter that could get disaster aid from the federal government. Gov. Chris Christie crafted a letter for President Barack Obama, asking that aid be delivered to those counties, including Cape May, from the Oct. 29 storm. The storm brought early snow, wind, and rain to various parts of the state, knocking out power to many. Cape May County mostly saw above average tidal flooding as a result.
