CHRISTIE ANNOUNCES HEROIN OVERDOSE DRUG FOR POLICE TO CARRY

gov_christiePolice officers may soon be able to carry a drug to help those going through a heroin overdose. Gov. Chris Christie announced a plan to allow officers to carry naloxone, which can quickly reverse the effects of a heroin overdose. A pilot program took place in the state but this will bring the the expansion of the program to every county. Officials say this drug can save lives and is an invaluable tool to protect human life.
