CHRISTIE ALLOWS SEASONAL BARS TO START SERVING AS OF FRIDAY

Seasonal businesses with a liquor license will be able to serve earlier throughout the state. Gov. Chris Christie signed an executive order to allow bars to start serving two months ahead of the May 1 start date. This means begins Friday, those businesses would be allowed to serve. The goal of the measure is to help post Sandy recovery for businesses that have been hampered by the storm.
