CHRISTIE ADMINISTRATION PROPOSES NEW ENERGY PLAN

The Chris Christie administration has unveiled its new statewide energy master plan that is drawing both praise and opposition from environmentalists.  The new master plan addresses the sagging solar industry and now makes it only double the price of coal.  And the new plan also recognizes the planned closure of the Oyster Creek nuclear power plant in just eight years.  Board of Public Utilities Director Lee Solomon says the plan will result in plenty of debate between lawmakers and environmental groups who want the state to do better.
