CHILD FLOWN TO COOPER HOSPITAL AFTER NEAR DROWNING DEATH

A seven-year-old female was reported in serious by stable condition on Thursday after being pulled out of a motel pool. Wildwood Police say the child was transported by South Star Helicopter to Cooper Trauma Center in Camden. The child was pulled out of the water by her 13-year-old brother and a motel guest identified as Doug Darby, of Union. Police credit their quick actions with the child’s increased chance of survival.
