CHATTERBAND TO PLAY WILDWOOD CREST AUG. 14

200px-Wildwood_Crest_archThe Chatterband, one the Delaware Valley’s most popular and longest-running dance/party bands, will take the stage at Centennial Park on Saturday, Aug. 14 at 7:30 p.m. as the Wildwood Crest Centennial Summer Music Series continues.

The Chatterband has been entertaining music lovers of all ages throughout the region for years. A nine-piece band featuring an exceptional horn section and a variety of singers, the Chatterband performs many of the most popular dance and party music ever recorded, from the 1950s through today. The band plays anything and everything from Motown hits to the favorite songs from Sinatra.

Saturday’s all-ages show is FREE and open to the entire family. Those attending the show should bring a blanket or a chair.

Centennial Park is located at Fern Road and Ocean Avenue (6601 Ocean), just steps away from the beautiful beaches of Wildwood Crest. Free parking is available two blocks away at Myrtle Road and Ocean Avenue.

In the event of inclement weather, the show will be held inside the Crest Pier Recreation Center at 5800 Ocean Avenue.

Live FREE concerts are held in Wildwood Crest each Monday (at Crest Pier), Wednesday (at Centennial Park) and Saturday (at Centennial Park) through late August.

Other upcoming shows in the Centennial Live Music Series include: Wednesday, Aug. 11 – Sweeter Than Honey (at Centennial Park); Monday, Aug. 16 – The Star Band (at Crest Pier); Wednesday, Aug. 18 – Polka Dot (at Centennial Park); Saturday, Aug. 21 – The Mango Men (at Centennial Park); and Monday, Aug. 23 – Michael James (at Crest Pier). All shows begin at 7:30 p.m.
