CARTY'S BAIL GETS REDUCED SIGNIFICANTLY

The bail for George Carty III has been significantly reduced. Carty’s bail has been reduced to $50,000 from $250,000. Carty was being held for the 1982 murder of John Attenborough. It has been determined before that some statements made by George J. Carty III during an interrogation at a West Virginia police department cannot be used in his upcoming trial. Coastal Broadcasting spoke with Carty’s attorney David Stefankiewicz who said without the interrogation statements, he believes the state has no case.
