CARL LEWIS WON’T GIVE UP IN BATTLE FOR SENATE SPOT

220px-Save_The_World_Awards_2009_show06_-_Carl_LewisFormer Olympian Carl Lewis is not yet ready to give up his dream of becoming a state senator in New Jersey.  On Wednesday a federal appeals court will hear a case involving Lewis’ bid to run as a democrat for a state senate seat in South Jersey.  State officials determined that Lewis cannot appear on the ballot because he doesn’t meet much of the criteria in order to become a candidate for elected office.  Lewis’ hearing is scheduled to be heard at 10:30am.
