CARL LEWIS FACES ANOTHER SETBACK IN SENATE ATTEMPT

Another court decision went against Carl Lewis. A state appeals court ruled that Lewis is unable to run for state senate, because he has not fulfilled the state’s residency requirement. Lewis previously lost in a federal court challenging the constitutional nature of a residency requirement. Lewis voted in California in 2009, despite owning a home in New Jersey for over four years. He is a multiple time winner in the Olympics.
