CAPE MAY TO SAVE $30,000 IN MOVING ELECTION DATE

Cape May is getting ready to move its election day. The city has held May elections, but voters overwhelming voted to move its election to November in a non-binding ballot question. City Council is getting ready to introduce an ordinance that would make that change official. Deputy Mayor Jack Wichterman suggested the ordinance during the council meeting on Wednesday. The move would save the city $30,000 per election.
