CAPE MAY POLICE WARN RESIDENTS ABOUT TELEPHONE SCAMS

Cape May city police are warning residents about an increasing number of telephone scams in the region.  The callers are asking for debt or credit card information, and in some cases, represent themselves as being from a utility company.  Police say no valid agency collects true debts in this manner.
