CAPE MAY POINT'S BUDGET INTRODUCED WITH 1.2 CENT INCREASE

A budget introduction took place in Cape May Point, with a 1.2 cent increase, according to a report by the Press of Atlantic City. The $1.8 million budget for the upcoming fiscal year will have a hearing and vote on May 13. The new tax rate would be 25.1 cents per $100 assessed valution, according to the report. No layoffs were to be implemented under this plan.
