CAPE MAY POINT APPROVES SLIGHT TAX INCREASE

Taxes will be going up in Cape May Point. A report by the Cape May County Herald says that Cape May Point officials approved a nearly one-cent tax increase during a meeting on March 10. The new tax rate has been set at 26.1 cents. According to the report, the actual budget is going down from $1.8 million to $1.6 million.
