CAPE MAY MAKES SPENDING OFFICIAL FOR KICKOFF CONCERT

A big contract is in place for the kickoff concert at the new Convention Hall. Cape May will open their building officially on Memorial Day weekend and Peter Nero and the Philly Pops Orchestra will be performing. City Council approved a $85,000 contract for the entertainment. A smaller contract was approved for lights and sound as well. Mayor Ed Mahaney has said he believes the show will be sell out.
