CAPE MAY GUILD HOSTS BENEFIT BACHELOR AUCTION

The Mermaid Guild, a group of Cape May businesses owned by women, held their second annual Bachelor Auction Sunday Night. one hundred percent of the proceeds go to the Community Food Bank of NJ, Southern Branch. Sixteen bachelors were available for bids, including NBC-40 weatherman Dan Skeldon and sportscaster Pete Thompson. The highest bid of $1,400, went to Jim Sharpley, who offered a date of dinner for six women, with six courses and six wines.
