CAPE MAY COUNTY TO GO AHEAD WITH ROAD PROJECTS

Two road projects will take a step forward on Tuesday. Cape May County Freeholders are expected to vote on a proposal to resurface Bay Ave. in Ocean City from 6th St. to 18th St., along with voting on work to begin construction on the Sea Isle City Blvd. project this fall.

Also, county freeholders are expected to ratify an agreement that will once again allow off-duty Sheriff’s Officers to be hired by the City of Wildwood for special events at the rate of $50 per hour. The Sheriff’s Department has this arrangement with a number of communities.
