CAPE MAY COUNTY GETS REDUCTION IN FUNDING FOR FOOD AND NUTRITION SERVICES

Cape May County has announced a one percent reduction in funding from the Federal Food and Nutrition Services program which provides the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program locally. Freeholder Jeffrey Pierson announced that Cape May County currently serves a total of 8,161 people through this program. The allocation will drop by two dollars per month for an individual, by 16 dollars per month for a household of eight.
