The Cape May County Office of Emergency Management held its annual Hurricane Preparedness Conference at the Wildwoods Convention Center this morning. County Emergency Management Director Marty Pagliughi announced that more than $44 million in various funding has been committed to the county and its municipalities since the arrival of Hurricane Sandy in October, 2012. Pagliughi also told the audience that the county’s emergency management website is getting a lot of traffic, and now features real-time tide gauges at essential locations through the Cape.
