CAPE MAY COAST GUARD CUTTER SEIZES 1,200 POUNDS OF COCAINE

The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Dependable returned to it’s Cape May base Monday morning after a huge drug bust on September 2nd. The crew was traveling 400 miles off the coast of Cape Cod, Mass., in international waters when they intercepted a 49-foot sailing vessel with two men on board. The boast was carrying 1,200 pounds of cocaine, with an estimated street value of over $20 million. The drug bust was the largest in the history of the Boston Coast Guard District. The two men taken into custody were Hicam Ramzi Nahra, 27, of Canada, and Benjamin Celma-Sedo, 49, of Spain.
