CAPE MAY BUDGET APPROVED, ONE CENT TAX INCREASE

Cape May has a new municipal budget.  The budget includes a one cent increase in the municipal tax rate, and raises the rate to 35 cents per $100 of assessed valuation.  Part of the tax increase is needed over the settlement reached with police Captain Robert Sheehan.
