CAPE MAY BEGINS WORK ON SMALLER CONVENTION HALL

City Council in Cape May began the process of creating a smaller Convention Hall facility. A special meeting was held on Tuesday. The goal is to have the new building open by Memorial Day, 2012. Council is beginning to hash out what they want to see in the building for the original $10.5 million. It appears that the Solarium will stay with the new plans. Officials are hoping to go out to bid on the project by next April.
