CAPE MAY APPROVES BOND TO TURN SCHOOL INTO LIBRARY

Cape May city officials met this week and approved spending money to turn the Franklin Street School into a branch of the county library system.  Cape May has to pony up $2 million for its share of the work, with other money coming from the County and the County Library Commission.  The vote was 4-1 in favor of the plan.
