BRIDGETON SCHOOL BOARD INTRODUCES BUDGET WITH TWO CENT INCREASE

A two cent increase has been introduced in the Bridgeton school district. The tax levy is going to be $3.9 million if the budget is passed as proposed. No layoffs are expected to take place as a result of this budget. Last year, 132 positions were removed from the district. The public hearing is going to be held on March 29.
