BOOKER PUSHES FOR TRACKING OF POLICE SHOOTINGS

A new proposal would track the shooting incidents that law enforcement officers across the country. U.S. Senator Cory Booker is pushing for a new law that would require police to report to the federal Justice Department anytime an officers were involved in a shooting or were the victim of an attack that led to serious injury or death. The proposal is a response to deaths that took place in Ferguson, Baltimore, and more.
