BOND TO IMPROVE SCHOOL IN OCEAN CITY APPROVED

Voters showed strong support for school improvements in Ocean City. A referendum was held on Tuesday for the $2.5 million bond, which would help improve the Primary School is the district. Along with grants and other funding, the total cost of the project comes to $6.6 million. It includes putting a new roof on the school and hooking the building up to a generator. The final vote count was 755 to 239.
