BLATSTEIN GETS PRELIMINARY APPROVAL TO BRING GAMING TO SHOWBOAT

The owner of the Showboat in Atlantic City has received preliminary approval to get a casino license.  The Casino Control Commission decided Monday to allow Bart Blatstein to pursue a gaming license for the former casino property.  Blatstein told the Associated Press that he would like to break ground on a piece of property that he owns next to the Showboat to have gaming there.
