BILL TO CREATE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN “SEXTING” PASSES COMMITTEE

Legislation to avoid prosecuting children passed through the Senate Committee on Monday. The bill came up after some children were found to send sexual explicit images and then get charged with child pornography. The measure would put these children into an educational program, where they can learn about the dangers of taking such action on a first offense. The legislation has already gone through the full Assembly.
