BIG RATE HIKE REQUEST FILED BY ATLANTIC CITY ELECTRIC

Your electric bills may be going up by over eight percent.  Atlantic City Electric has requested a rate hike request of 8.25 percent from the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.  The utility is continuing a modernization program of its power grid.  The average customer would see their bills increase by $10 per month.

  1. $10.00 a month!! Who in Cape May County can afford that kind of rate hike. Cape May Tech just voted to give level one secretaries a raise if $12.00 a year!
