"BEST PRACTICE LIST" PROVIDED BY CHRISTIE

Mayors from around the state are receiving a checklist to keep government more affordable. Gov. Chris Christie had the list sent out through the Department of Community Affairs. Towns are threatened with losing state aid if they do not fill out the sheet. A spokesman for the governor said that the state is going to use the data to assess how funds need to be distributed in the future.
