BEACH TOWN ASKED TO RETURN “SANDY” FUNDING

A popular Jersey Shore beach community will repay $652,000 that it received in Hurricane Sandy relief funding.  The federal government is getting the funding back from Beach Haven because the town really didn’t need the emergency funding.  The feds say nearly half of that funding was allocated incorrectly because Beach Haven could not document the expenses.
