BEACH TAG REVENUES UP FROM LAST YEAR

Many shore towns are reporting increased revenues from beach tag sales so far in 2016. The Press of Atlantic City reports that beach revenue is up by 2 percent in Ocean City, 1 percent in Sea Isle City and 4 percent in Harvey Cedars over last year. Preseason beach tag sales were down, due to rainy and cold weather, but the hot and humid conditions of July and August are credited with boosting sales.
