AVALON TO KICK OFF BACKPASSING BEACH PROJECT IN THREE WEEKS

Avalon will be conducting a sand backpassing project for the second year in a row.  The Avalon Borough Council will hear discussion of a plan Wednesday afternoon that will result in sand being transported from south of the Fishing Pier to an eroded area largely between 11th and 15th Streets.  The project is expected to begin on or about April 1st.
