AVALON TO APPROVE FIRST OF ITS KIND FLOOD STUDY

Avalon’s Borough Council met Wednesday night and discussed a new, first of its kind flood study that will use sensors to monitor the effects of nuisance flooding in the community.  Avalon and Longport will partner with the Atlantic Cape May Coastal Coalition on this project that will use real time flood sensors to monitor coastal flooding over a one year period, starting July 1st.
