AVALON RECOGNIZES POLICE WHO SAVED MAN’S LIFE IN THE OCEAN

Avalon Mayor Martin Pagliughi and Council President John McCorristin recognized two Avalon police officers who saved a despondent man’s life in the ocean last month.  Patrolmen Mark Glassford and Matthew Ardelean managed the situation and brought the man safely to shore during the early morning hours of September 24th.  The incident resulted in no injuries; both cops received proclamations from the Borough Wednesday evening.
