AVALON RECOGNIZES 30 YEAR EMPLOYEE TO BOROUGH

The Borough of Avalon honored a longtime member of the Borough’s recreation department on Friday, August 30th.  The Borough recognized Fred Bock for his 30 years of service to the department during a luncheon at Avalon Community Hall. During the luncheon Mayor Pagliughi presented Bock with an official proclamation from the Mayor’s office thanking him for his longtime service. Bock was responsible for the coordination of coaches, teams, uniforms, equipment, game schedules, and officials for many organized sports activities throughout each year.
